dawn has broken. clear skies with few puffy clouds. no rain. leaving around 10 am to bypass the traffic in Knoxville and Cincinnati. on highway 75 and on highway 70. good place to stay at hotel highway 70 after dayton, ohio. have to stay in cheep hotels now and have better Food. can drive long distance just have to stop every two hours. satellite radio is best.. got to drive about 500 to 600 miles today. day number two out of fifteen. so far no police tickets with car. driving speed limit 60 and 70 MPH. lot of broken down autos on side of highway. Denver getting 12 inches of snow today and tomorrow. Mr bob will be going through colorado and Denver in about three days. we will see if Ford Taurus holds up bilt strong. year 2007 36,000 miles. Denver or Salt Lake city Utah be good place for doing laundry cloths at hotel.

wake up time. washing today's close. have hotel bag in back seat of car with extra cloths and bathing suite for any hotels hot tub. also in back seat garment bag with north face, jackets. computer monitor will be in back seat also for Denali. buying new desktop when at fairbanks. notebook computer in trunk of car. if need more money on trip for tires and so forth mom can put extra money in my debit credit card at anytime. tires checked out from firestone have enough tred for the whole trip. but might need all weather tires when in Alaska for summer. have three cans of tire fix it flat. don't know why. Taurus mileage is 36,000 miles. we will see if any high bridges or tunnels for picture taking of Taurus/Bob. yes indeed.

Bob Blockus did not want to be statistic if something goes wrong on long 5,000 mile drive to Alaska. Decided it was best to Fly at end of April start of May. last minute decision. when on Alaska Airlines and or South West Airlines going to Alaska Bob could smile and relax. the previous planed long drive 15 day trip was solo no fun in that regards. Bob chicked out for Drive Trip. Better to play it safe. Yes Indeed.

For the record. Bob Blockus started to pack the Auto for the long road trip to Healy, Alaska. over 5,000 miles of open cities and wilderness highways. up and down elevation's next to rivers forests and mountains.

Mind over reality to deal with up coming accomplishments. driving from Florida to Alaska is very very long distance. weather plays part of key success to this accomplishment. if it feels right do the long distance. safety is king if everything is thought out. Bob Blockus is Scared very much. big world United States Canada. traffic weather people and keeping in means of budget fiance of 15 day trip. got special permission from Sarah at Denali if Mr bob is few days late. Leaving on trip Thursday. work job Denali starts May 7. at least Mr bob has Alaska Job. oh more driving when get to denali. drivers team job as laundry truck driver eight hours five days a week.

Long distance driving. no caffeine soda drinks after 4 pm. be able to sleep good at night. limit caffeine soda drinks three or four per day. good rule = every six days. rest for two full days at hotel or campground. always manage what you drink in way of caffeine. yes indeed.

The spin off to long distance driving is to drive on day light terms. stretch and relax little at rest stops check maps and plot GPS. best to print out maps at home on major city outer belt to save time through city traffic. good idea to get gas before major city and go on the outer belt and continue on the interstate highway. do not worry about price of gasoline. on long remote stretches of highway always good idea to fill up gas tank when its half full. double check map to see what lies ahead for towns with gas stations.

When travel up north to Alaska give yourself budget for hotels $100 each night. it makes sence only to stay in cheep hotels to save additional money. about $59 each night. once or three times nice to stay in hotels with hot tub to relax the stress away. be good idea to check out hotels on line for any free wi fi computer hot spots. it is also good idea to check in around 6 pm before the sun goes down. check on line the hotels web site for next door restaurants food places. take hot shower rest in hotel room and then go back outside for food places. always double check things in areas on the trip where to stop for each night. no reason to make hotel reservations. too many hotels to choose from. make sure your car is parked near your hotel room.

Seasonal work in Alaska is far better than normal jobs at fast food places or working for cellular phone company in sales. companies in the hotel business that offer seasonal work have loads of perks from free stand by tour trips to discounts at restaurants. never estimate the power of the seasonal worker. can upgrade job position each year and get higher rate of pay just for coming back second third time around. it is not un common for several seasonal work companies offer job contract at one time. the worker can choose the better one and be happier. January into February Summer positions get filled through on line applications and resumes that are emailed or faxed in. Alaska has over 4,000 seasonal positions during summer. it is worth the time for the job seeker to spend time on computer with the on line applications and email resumes.

Self motivation and personal drive makes the grade for starting out on long journey trip. do not worry about any misfortunes or un usual events that will take place. key factor is having enough money for budget and try and save money on the way with spending less. it is hard to grasp driving day in day out for long periods of time. let motivation and auto music guide you mile after mile of the long journey. make friends with yourself first if its a solo trip. do not look back and keep focus on the GPS as a radar whats is in front and all around three hundred sixty degrees. day in day out scenery that changes be part of Eath Landmarks. yes indeed.

Bob Blockus is getting nervous for the long road trip of about 5,000 miles for work job at Denali, Alaska at McKinley Chalets. have done all the preliminary road trip planning and purchase of GPS. next couple of days gathering up finances from Mom. gas, food, hotels, campgrounds, with extra emergency money. the trip is long. going up highway 75 from Florida to Ohio and over left on highway 70. through Kansas, Colorado touch with Vail and up highway 15. pass salt lake city Utah and through Montana. up into Canada to Dawson Creak, Watson Lake, and over into Whitehorse and into Skagway. Ferry boat trip to Haines and up to Fairbanks into Denali. McKinley Chalets work job starts May 7. yes indeed.
